Physical Education
“If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.” Michael Jordan
The purpose of the Physical Education (PE) curriculum is to provide pupils with a comprehensive and engaging programme that promotes physical fitness, well-being, and lifelong healthy habits. Through a variety of sports and physical activities, the curriculum aims to develop pupils‘ motor skills, teamwork, resilience, and leadership abilities. Additionally, it fosters an understanding of the importance of physical activity in maintaining mental and physical health, while encouraging positive attitudes towards an active lifestyle. The PE curriculum strives to create a supportive and inclusive environment where all pupils can discover their potential, enjoy physical activity, and develop the confidence to lead healthy, active lives both now and in the future.
