Pupil Voice

We make a commitment to listen to our young people’s views, experiences and wishes. It is important for pupils to feel safe and be able to express their views on decisions that are made in the Centre. What pupils say is valued, listened to and carefully considered by staff and governors. Pupils can voice their suggestions in several ways, such as in tutor time discussions and questionnaires, the Pupil Leadership Team and pupil voice suggestions box.

Our Pupil Voice is a way to share pupils experiences, views and hopes on items such as:

  • The curriculum/lessons
  • How they like to learn
  • Facilities and the physical environment of our school
  • The wider environment
  • Lunch times
  • Uniform
  • Wellbeing, promoting physical and mental good health
  • Rewards/sanctions
  • Contributing to CLC policies
