We are incredibly proud to celebrate the recent achievement of five of our Year 11 pupils, who have successfully completed their Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award expedition. Over the course of three days and two nights, the pupils demonstrated outstanding teamwork, resilience, and determination as they navigated their way to glory.
From navigating their routes to cooking meals in the great outdoors and supporting one another every step of the way, each participant showed great character and commitment in completing the self-sufficient task. The expedition was not only a test of physical and mental endurance, but also a rewarding experience that allowed pupils to develop leadership skills, independence, and a deep appreciation for the natural world.
A huge congratulations to all involved – your hard work, perseverance, and positive spirit truly embody the values of the DofE programme. We also extend our thanks to all the staff who supported the pupils in preparing for and completing their expedition!
